Cambrisa is the tool I wanted for myself: a calm, durable place to build websites, far from the toolkit that changes every six months. A one-person workshop, a single obsession: the material of the web.

The living layer

The cambium is the only living layer of a tree: a pale line between wood and bark, the exact place where everything grows. Cambrisa wants to be that layer: between structure and world, where your work grows.

How Cambrisa grew.

  1. Step 01

    The realization

    Years of building sites with a toolkit that never talks to itself: mockups on one side, tasks on another, code somewhere else. Too much friction, especially when you work alone.

  2. Step 02

    Tokens first

    Everything starts with the material: a token system that compiles colors, type, and spacing into real variables. The common base for everything else.

  3. Step 03

    Mockups in the browser

    Design directly in the material of the web instead of in an image. The first mockups come out of the browser, already ready to live.

  4. Step 04

    The hub

    Project management, mockups, and plugins come together under one roof. One login, one place, and each tool feeds the others.

    The showcase

    The site you are reading. What comes next is written one ring at a time.

What does not move

Calm

A tool that does not demand your attention: no screaming alerts, no red counters. The workshop stays quiet, so you can hear yourself think.

Durable

Your projects must outlive trends: open formats that reopen in ten years, URLs that never die, updates that erase nothing.

Precise

Every detail is a decision, never a default: the radius varies with the function, the color comes from a token, every pixel has a reason.

There is no team behind Cambrisa: one designer-developer, young, stubborn, fond of hard problems. Everything you see here, from token to line of code, comes out of the same workshop. Slower than a big team, and proudly so: one ring at a time.
